shoda san painted this blue rose for us on our stilts. the blue signifies never giving up even when things seem impossble. there was a similar ring with our own challenge. a brilliant reminder of a brilliant day
message to arisa chan and kana chan.
it was nice to meet you and talk to you. remember to always follow your dreams. some people will laugh. some people will call you crazy. but that is because they don't understand. remember, it is your dream not theirs. !ood luck with your english and good luck with school. bye

after 4 months and 2000kms my stilts are finally beginning to feel the effects. so much so that they are falling apart before our eyes. repairs used to happen once a week. now they are needed a few times each day just to make the distance. we're doing all we can to keepthem together.

since coming over to the pacific side of japan, the cities have been bigger, the roads have been bustlier and the people have been busier and as such our fundraising had come to a sudden halt. today takatani san changed that trend with some nice words of encouragement and a generous donation. thank you takatani san. with our stiklts crumbling around us, you gave us the extra legs that we so dearly needed.
