the distance has not only taken its toll on miki's stilts. a few days before we replaced hers we decided it was time to changeone of mine as well due to wear and tear that comes after a walk of more than 2000kms. we had made a set of spare stilts before the challenge started and had them sent down. the difference was remarkable and the walking has been great ever since.
